Some EzyStream plans incur archived media charges after a period of time. The cost of storing your media in the cloud is included in your package subscription until it's one year old for video, or two years old for audio.
For more information about the cost of archiving your media, please contact your account manager or Email Us
EzyStream offers you a quick way to view the media currently incurring archive charges and remove the file quickly if you no longer need it.
To do this:
Q: If my media is Archived, is it still available to my users within my app/website?
A: Yes! Definitely. If you media is showing as archived, it still operates within your media library as normal. The only difference is it will incur the additional storage fee, and show in the Archived list so that you can easily remove items you no longer want to store.
Q: Why does my media incur archive charges?
A: Storing large media files in the cloud incurs a cost. That cost of storing your media is included in your package subscription until it's one year old for video, or two years old for audio. After this we encourage you to decide whether you still need it in your account and then we charge a small fee to keep it current in your account.
Q: Can I remove a file from my app or website, but keep it stored by EzyStream?
A: Yes! If you'd like to keep your media in our cloud, as a part of your media library, but remove it from public view, you can remove the offer associate to that title. Offers can be edited in the top right of your edit series window.
Q: How is my archive date calculated?
A: Your media is archived based on the date you uploaded your media or date the media happened (loaded by you) - whichever is earlier.
