Administrative Permissions

Administrators are users within your platform who can also login to your management dashboard at admin.ezystream.com. We have multiple types of administrative users. If you setup your account, you'll have access to everything active in your subscription. (i.e be a Normal Administrator, with all options active/selected).

Normal Administrators

Normal Administrators can have a variety of permissions within your normal dashboard:

  • Access to manage most features in your dashboard, except see financial information (your package cost, media royalties, EzyStream Giving) and are unable to add features to your EzyStream subscription,
  • Access to EzyStream Giving
  • Full access to your account (with or without access to Giving), including the ability to add things to your subscription, see commercial payments income, and create royalty reports of TVOD media sold (if applicable).

Volunteer Administrators

The Volunteer administrator is only able to upload media to your platform. When they login, the only option available to them is to click (plus) Media. Once their media is uploaded, it disppears from their view, as they are unable to view your media library (or any other dashboard function). This is ideal for organisations, like churches, who have volunteers uploading media after an event. If any changes were required to their upload, these would be done by someone who has standard permissions (as above).

Administering Multiple Channels

If your organisation, or user account needs access to multiple EzyStream platforms, you're able to have different administrative accounts active on your email address.

This is likely to happen in two instances:

  1. Your organisation operates multiple accounts for different parts of your organisation, or different apps. In this case, each administrator can be set to have access to some or all of your organisations' accounts.
  2. You help administer more than one organisation's apps (e.g. your sports club and your church). Again, your permissions for each organisation can be different (from the choices above).

If this has been setup for you, you will be able to select 'Switch Channel' under your Account menu in EzyStream Admin.

Switching Administrative Accounts:

  1. When logged into the EzyStream Dashboard, click the Account Menu (Under your name in the top right).
  2. Click 'Switch Channel'
  3. Select the name of the new account you would like to work with.
  4. Click Submit.
