If you’re a non-profit, you may use Infoodle as your CRM/people management software, to help manage your organisation. Infoodle and EzyStream operate a key partnership to give you the best integration experience. In fact, EzyStream operates Infoodle’s own app as well.

Access to Infoodle Features

There are two levels of access available within your app for Infoodle features:

  1. Full Infoodle users/administrators. These are people with a login to the main Infoodle dashboard.
  2. Everyone in your organization who organisation who needs access to their volunteer roster generated by Infoodle. Easy access to this feature can be gained by entering a 5-digit PIN code displayed to your community members when Infoodle emails them about rosters.

 

Activating Infoodle features in your EzyConnect or EzyChurch platform.

Its easy to activate Infoodle in your EzyStream account:

  1. Login to the EzyStream Dashboard
  2. Browse to Subscriptionslocated under your Account Menu,
  3. Ensure that Infoodle Basic is active in your account. This will be in Available Services if Infoodle Directory is not already showing in your Active Services.
  4. Find the feature called Infoodle Directory and click Config,
  5. Enter the name you’d like to give your Directory feature. Some people call this a name like ‘Member Directory’. Other organisations with only a few people using the Infoodle Directory button may call this something like ‘Admin’ or ‘Infoodle Admin’
  6. Enter the URL of your Infoodle account. It will be something like https://myorganisation.infoodle.com/
  7. Check if you use the Infoodle ‘Roster’ function (in Infoodle - this is an add-on to your Infoodle subscription).
  8. If you do, you can also add this the 'Rosters' function under Available Services. This will add another button to your App Menu called Rosters, and does not require any configuration.

The Power of Infoodle Rosters

Infoodle allows you to roster your volunteers for different roles within an event. When each of your volunteers is allocated a role, they receive an email to confirm their availability. Now, with the Roster button in your app, they can view and respond to these rostering requests right within your app.

Note: If you are an Infoodle user, you can login to Infoodle instead, and a PIN is not required. Once logged into your EzyStream account in the apps account menu, you'll be prompted for your Infoodle login when you browse to an Infoodle feature within the app.

The Power of Infoodle Directory

The Infoodle app features are designed to be an accompaniment to your primary Infoodle dashboard, giving you access to features likely to be required ‘On-the-go’.

 

Most of the easy access features you will require while ‘On-the-Go’ are available within the Infoodle Directory menu item in your app. 

Within this feature, you are able to:

  1. View the contact information for each person visible to you in your Infoodle account.
  2. See additional dynamic fields created by you within Infoodle for each person within their contact details.
  3. View the household of a contact, and the people within the household.
  4. Add a person to a workflow you have already created.
  5. Create, Edit and Delete Notes for a person.
  6. Get directions to a contact’s address. 

Using Infoodle Notes

Infoodle Notes are available within a contact’s information within Infoodle directory. Please note this is a separate function to the primary Notes function that may also be in your app’s menu. 

  1. Click Directory
  2. Search for the person you’d like to make a note on
  3. Scroll to the bottom of their contact information and tap ‘Notes’
  4. You are now presented with a list of notes for that person. Either select on to edit, or tap ‘Add New Note’ at the bottom of the list.
  5. Enter the details of your note:
    1. Your ‘Note Type’ are types you have created within Infoodle already,
    2. Colour code are categories you have created within Infoodle already,
    3. Select whether this note is for a person, or a household,
    4. Select who, within your Infoodle user teams, can see the note you are creating,
    5. Enter the details of your note,
    6. Click Save, to save your note to Infoodle.

 

Displaying Infoodle Forms in your app

Your app is able to display the content of an Infoodle form to your users. This is a powerful way to collect information from your community members and have the information flow directly into your Infoodle account, eliminating the need for data entry within your management office. 

To display an Infoodle form:

  1. Login to the EzyStream Dashboard,
  2. Click ‘Functions’ in Quick Actions - in the top left of your dashboard.,
  3. Click ‘Config’ on any of the following features under ‘Active Services’:
    1. Form Embed
    2. App Web Embed
    3. App Web Embed Two
    4. Blog
      Note: You may need to add the ‘Connect Bundle’ under ‘Available Services’ in order to see these options.
  4. Enter the name you’d like to give the button in your app menu for this form.
  5. Paste the URL of your form from the primary Infoodle dashboard.
