Using the Infoodle App (powered by EzyStream)

If you’re a non-profit, you may use Infoodle as your CRM/people management software, to help manage your organisation. Infoodle and EzyStream operate a key partnership to give you the best integration experience and the Infoodle App is powered by the EzyStream platform. The article below helps you learn how to use these features.

Infoodle App

This page is intended for customers who use the Infoodle branded app. If you want to integrate Infoodle features into your Own EzyStream app, you can learn more about the Infoodle Integrations here.

Access to Infoodle Features

There are two levels of access available within the Infoodle app, for different types of users:

  1. Full Infoodle users/administrators. These are people with a login to the main Infoodle dashboard.
  2. Everyone in your organisation who needs access to their volunteer roster generated by Infoodle. Easy access to this feature can be gained by entering a 5-digit PIN code displayed to your community members when Infoodle emails them about rosters.

The Power of Infoodle Rosters

Infoodle allows you to roster your volunteers for different roles within an event. When each of your volunteers is allocated a role, they receive an email to confirm their availability. Now, with the Roster button in your app, they can view and respond to these rostering requests right within your app.

The first time a user uses the Roster function, they need to:

  1. Click the Roster button in your app
  2. They will then be asked if they have an Infoodle account. Most likely they will say ‘no’
  3. They then need to enter the 5-digit PIN that Infoodle includes in their notification email to activate their roster.
  4. This access is saved by the EzyStream app for instant access in the future.

Note: If you are an Infoodle user, you can login to Infoodle instead, and a PIN is not required.

The Power of Infoodle Directory

The Infoodle app features are designed to be an accompaniment to your primary Infoodle dashboard, giving you access to features likely to be required ‘On-the-go’.

Most of the easy access features you will require while ‘On-the-Go’ are available within the Infoodle Directory menu item in your app.

Within this feature, you are able to:

  1. View the contact information for each person visible to you in your Infoodle account.
  2. See additional dynamic fields created by you within Infoodle for each person within their contact details.
  3. View the household of a contact, and the people within the household.
  4. Add a person to a workflow you have already created.
  5. Create, Edit and Delete Notes for a person.
  6. Get directions to a contact’s address.

Using Infoodle Notes

Infoodle Notes are available within a contact’s information within Infoodle directory. Please note this is a separate function to the primary Notes function that may also be in your app’s menu.

  1. Click Directory
  2. Search for the person you’d like to make a note on
  3. Scroll to the bottom of their contact information and tap ‘Notes’
  4. You are now presented with a list of notes for that person. Either select on to edit, or tap ‘Add New Note’ at the bottom of the list.
  5. Enter the details of your note:
    1. Your ‘Note Type’ are types you have created within Infoodle already,
    2. Colour code are categories you have created within Infoodle already,
    3. Select whether this note is for a person, or a household,
    4. Select who, within your Infoodle user teams, can see the note you are creating,
    5. Enter the details of your note,
    6. Click Save, to save your note to Infoodle.

Displaying Infoodle Forms

Your Infoodle app is able to display the content of Infoodle forms to your users. This is a powerful way to collect information from your community members and have the information flow directly into your Infoodle account, eliminating the need for data entry within your management office.

To display an Infoodle form:

  1. Login to the Infoodle App Dashboard
  2. Click ‘Functions’ in Quick Actions - on the top left of your dashboard.
  3. Click ‘Config’ on any of the following features under ‘Active Services’:
