If you would prefer your app to not be made publicly on the app store, we can help you distribute it to your staff privately. If your app is for internal staff only, Apple required it to be a private/B2B app.

Private/B2B iOS App Instructions

Apple Business Account Set Up

1. You, or your IT team sign up to the Apple Volume Purchasing Programme - a part of the Apple Business Programme. Although your app will be free for you to access, this portal will let you see the app while not being available on the App Store.

   • Visit https://business.apple.com/ to signup for free. 

   • You'll need a DUNS number for your organisation which is also free. You can check if you have one already here, or request one here, or call Dun & Bradstreet/Illion (0800362222) for help.

To get the Organization's Name and ID

1. Go to https://business.apple.com/ and sign in
2. Down the bottom left corner click the organization's Apple ID name and choose the options preferences. 
3. Got to the Enrollment Information page and you should see the Organization Name and the Organization ID 
4. Please send these to EzyStream

To get your apple ID for your business account:

1. Go to the Users area on the left-hand side and then
2. Select the administrator user
3. You will see the "Managed Apple ID" field. 
4. Please send this to EzyStream with your Organization Name and ID

App Distribution Instructions (To be started after EzyStream has published your app)

1. Once your app is approved, login to the Apple Business Store, and find your B2B app from EzyStream, and purchase (free) the number of links you'd like to distribute to your team. (Only Apple Business Accounts we have authorised access will see your app listing).
2. Once your purchase is complete, Apple will supply you with a CSV file with an unique URL for each copy of the app your requested/purchased.
3. Send the URL/Redeem code to each of your team:

• • If you operate a smaller team, emailing the URL or redemption code to each employee may be appropriate.
  • EzyStream can offer you an additional feature which imports the CSV Apple issues you and automatically allocates them to your users as they request them.
    To achieve this, we'll offer you a special URL (yourorganisation.ezystream.com) where if the user has the URL, they can request a link on either the App Store or the Play Store. Learn more about managing this service here.
  • Your organisation may also have Mobile Device Management (MDM) Systems in place to manage devices and the apps installed. 
  • Once redeemed/installed, app updates will appear for your team members in the App Store updates area in the same fashion that Store listed apps do.
