YouTube Live Stream
You can embed your Live Video Stream from YouTube right into your app. You can even schedule a push notification to send just before you intend to go live!
Add your Live Stream into your app
Each time your YouTube Live Stream URL changes (possibly each event), you need to put the URL into your EzyStream dashboard:
- Login into the EzyStream Dashboard
- Browse to Subscriptions, located under your Account Menu,
- Find YouTube Live Stream in your Active Services, and click Config
Tip: If you can't find it, ensure you have added the YouTube Live Stream function under 'Available Services' to your account. - Enter 'YouTube Live Stream' into the service name
Enter the Video ID of your YouTube video stream:
Copy and Paste the URL of your Live Stream into the 'YouTube Video ID' field.
Remove full URL of the video, leaving only the actual Video ID remaining. For example, ‘https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymJN_tpeBI' becomes 'ymJN_tpeBI’.
Note: Anything after the Video ID should also be removed. This from an '&' symbol and onwards.
- Click Submit
