Customising Tempate Notifications and Emails

Your EzyStream platform recommends and sends emails and push notifications for you when certain activities happen. For example, a template email is sent when a user creates an account or they make a donation. A push notification can be generated by your dashboard when you upload a new PDF, or when you add media.

You can customise some of the messages sent to your users:

Customising Templates

To customise a template message:

1. Login to the EzyStream Dashboard
2. Click the Manage Menu and select 'Notification/Email Templates'
3. This screen will show you the default messages being sent:
   1. :channel will automatically insert the name or your app or website,
   2. :name will automatically insert the first name of your user.
4. To change the default message:
   1. Click 'Edit' on the message you'd like to change
   2. Scroll down past the template text fields, and enter the new text you would like to use:
      1. 'Title' is the heading of your notification, or the subject of your email,
      2. 'Header' is for emails only. This is the bold heading/title at the top of your email body.
      3. 'Message' is the bulk of your text/message.
