Basic Requirements to Publish a Custom App for iOS and Android

Once you've ordered your custom app from EzyChurch, we require a few basic images and other information in order to prepare your app for the Apple App store and Google Play Store.

Your app may already be configured inside a demonstration environment. However, to publish your app into its own version of the app, we need the following information from you.
Please note that we are happy to create the graphic assets on your behalf from your logo. If you'd like these images to be different to your logo, we suggest you have them designed and then supply to your EzyStream account manager.

APP STORE LISTING NAME
NOT EDITABLE - REQUIRES APPLE APPROVAL TO CHANGE 

This is the name of the app in the App Store and Play Store (e.g. 'St. Mary's Presbyterian Church').


APP NAME
NOT EDITABLE - REQUIRES APPLE APPROVAL TO CHANGE

This is the name of your app on the home screen on users devices and should be a short version of your listing name. For example, if your name is 'St. Mary's Presbyterian Church' you should shorten this to 'St Mary's' If you make this too long, users devices will truncate your app's name.


APP/PLAY STORE LISTING TEXT
NOT EDITABLE - REQUIRES APPLE APPROVAL TO CHANGE

  1. We require a description for your app which appears in your App/Play Store listing. Please supply this as text.
  2. We require an additional short description of max 80 characters for the Google Play Store only.


IOS/ANDROID ICON 
NOT EDITABLE - REQUIRES APPLE APPROVAL TO CHANGE 

Resolution: 1024x1024px

Transparency: Not Required

Preferred File Format: EPS

Alternate File Formats: PNG, JPG

The icon which appears on your users screen, as well as in the App/Play Store listing, should be square, and be supplied at a minimum resolution of 1024x1024px, either as an EPS, PNG or JPG file.


ANDROID PLAY STORE FEATURE IMAGE 
EDITABLE BY YOUR PLAY STORE ACCOUNT ADMIN 

Resolution: 1024x500px

Transparency: Not Required

Preferred File Format: PNG, JPG

This image appears next to your app’s icon, at the top of your app’s listing in the Google Play Store. (This is not used by the Apple App Store).


APP SPLASH SCREEN IMAGE 
NOT EDITABLE - REQUIRES APPLE APPROVAL TO CHANGE 

Resolution: 1200x448px

Transparency: Required

Preferred File Format: EPS

Alternate File Formats: PNG

This image is placed into the centre of your splash screen. It should be supplied with a transparent background so that the colour of your splash screen can appear around it. The background colour will be either your Primary Colour or Header Colour if you have one set. Both the background colour and logo are locked into your app and cannot be updated without a new app being built and approved by Apple.
