Transfer Apple's Legal/Team Agent Role

If you plan to leave your organisation and want to transfer the management of your Apple Developer account to another person, you’ll need to transfer the Team Agent Role in your Apple Developer Programme.

The Team Agent in your Apple Developer Programme is the only person who can renew your annual subscription, and accept new Apple Agreements. Therefore it is critical that your organisation retains access to this part of your Developer Account.

  1. Find out the Apple ID of the person you are wanting to transfer the role to.

  2. The recipient needs to have 2-factor authentication active on their Apple ID.

  3. Follow Apple’s instructions which can be found here: https://developer.apple.com/support/account-holder-transfer/
